Spring Sonata

A Prayer in Spring

by Robert Frost

Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers to-day;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.
 Redbud blossoms

Beautiful forsythia in her crowning glory

Gorgeous spring blooms

I couldn't resist taking these pictures of blooming trees and bushes.  Spring has at last arrived, and I am suffering from spring fever.  I want to get outside and play and take photo after photo of growing plants and nesting birds.  I'm hopeless.

GORGEOUS!!! And when I opened your blog, what's playing but the Simple Gifts thing we are now singing in choir. Except your version sounds WAY better than ours!
