"Anticipation.   Anticipation is making me late.  Is keeping me waiting. . ."  We're due for a snowstorm!  I'm so excited.  They're saying we're due to get 4-6 inches of the white stuff.  This will be the first significant snow we've had this winter, and I'm so anticipatin' it.  I've got my camera charged, the Weather Channel tuned in, my snow shovel fired up (haha), and chicken soup stocked on my shelves.  I know this is premature, but I just had to post some snow photos that I took last year to start the process.

Can you tell I'm excited?!

More power to you my friend! The 8" we had on Jan 10 is STILL piled up in some parking lots! If I don't see one more flake this season, I'll be fine and dandy! Have fun!

Jayne: We ended up with a foot of snow! It's so beautiful out there right now. But then I had to shovel my drive, which is between two other drives. Carrying that wet, heavy snow around my neighbor's car was NOT fun. Good exercise but NOT fun. If I didn't have to worry about them, I'd get a power shovel.

Lynn: Can you believe we didn't get a snow day today?! I did telework though so ended up not having to drive in. Did you hear about those folks who were stranded on the GW Parkway for 12 hours! I'm so glad it wasn't me. That's the way I go home from work. So many abandoned vehicles and horror stories about taking hours and hours to get home. I don't understand why it's such a nightmare here when it snows.
