Orca in NC

These photos were sent to my daughter by friends who were sport fishing for tuna off the shores of the Outer Banks in Oregon Inlet.  These orca were taking the tuna off the lines from the fishing boat!  






Here is a video of the orca hunting the tuna. 





If you watch, you can see there is a baby in the group!  How exciting it must have been to suddenly these these huge creatures around you.  When you see them like this in their natural element and swimming free in the ocean, you wonder how it can be right to keep them in a tank for the pleasure of humans.

Mother Nature never disappoints! Ginny, last evening I watched the movie "Open Water" loosely based on a true storey about a couple inadvertently left behind while on a scuba diving trip and unfortunately where they met their demise. After viewing your video and watching that movie, this Island girl will now think twice about swimming in the ocean!
