Remember

I'm having a terrible time living with life the way it comes these past few days.  I want to pound my fists and scream.  I don't want to hear anyone say that everything happens for a reason.  I don't think that's true anymore.  But I do look to God to help me through the dark times like today and help me to look forward to the better things that are headed my way tomorrow.  It's just that sometimes it hard to look up and look forward when everything in your path seems so dark and hopeless and you feel helpless.

On my way to work this morning, I watched the sun rise.  I watched the light play across the sky in violet and pink rays.  I remembered how beautiful the new day can be.  Please let the darkness pass quickly and let light into my heart.

"Live for today, but hold your hands open to tomorrow. Anticipate the future and its changes with joy. There is a seed of God's love in every event, every unpleasant situation in which you may find yourself."

Dear Genny, I'm praying that the light comes quickly to your sweet, gentle heart. He is there, even if you can't see him.

Genny - I don't know what's going on in your life, except that it seems you've hit a rough spot. I know how dark the dark can be.

Was it Churchill who said when you're going through Hell, keep going? Whoever said it ... well said.

I'll be thinking of you.

Keep reminding your self of the promise that each new day brings, whatever you are going through I hope it passes quickly.

The photography is nearly as exquisite as your words and the transparency of your soul. Praying that "this too shall pass" and life will bring you peace.

Thank you all so much for your support and comments. It helps more than you'll ever know to know that you're all out there and sending prayers. I'm starting to feel a little better.

What does not kill us makes us stronger...I am still catching up with your blog. Wonderful photos, the grandchildren are just adorable. Now that little hen you fell for is a Frizzle, I think you need a Frizzle in your life. It is wonderful to have a hen in the house. Yes you could have just one girl and yes it could live inside with you. I promise she would put a smile on your face and a song in your heart!
