ALOHA AND MAHALO
I spent the last week in beautiful Hawaii on the island of Oahu. It was work-related, but I can think of many worse places to have to work. LOL!! My coworker and I had the chance to do some sightseeing, go to a luau, and meet some really friendly people. The scenery and the color of the ocean is indescribably beautiful. I've posted some of my photos for your enjoyment. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and loved Hawaii, like Dorothy said, there's no place like home.
Genny, your photos are wonderful! I wish I painted landscapes; and I also wish I could visit Hawaii!:) Thanks for visiting my blog and your nice comments about my artwork. Keep working with the brushes and you'll probably be surprised at how quickly good things happen!

What a wonderful "work" trip Genny! The photos are beautiful. I know what you mean about there being no place like home though.
You went to Hawaii for WORK?? Can I have your job?!!
Gorgeous. I like the mountains & all, but give me Hawaii...... :o)
But then again, you already knew I was a beach girl.
